Osirian Numerology and Precession of Equinoxes
The so-called Precession of Equinoxes is caused by a wobble in the Earth"s Rotation on its Axis. As a result of this Wobble, the Celestial Equator appears to change its position over the course of thousands of years. This Movement is known as the Precession of the Equinoxes because its most easily observable effect is a change in the positions of the Equinoxes, the places where the Celestial Equator crosses the Zodiac.

In particular the Precession results in the Equinoxes moving slowly backward along the Zodiac, passing through one Zodiacal Constellation every 2,160 years, and through the entire Zodiac every 25,920 years.
Ringed around the Ecliptic, in a Starry Belt extends approximately 7 degrees North and South are Twelve Constellations of the Zodiac, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagitarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. All Constellations are irregular in size, shape, and Distribution. Each day as Earth turns from West to East, the Sun ( which remains in a fixed Position) appears to m ove across the sky from East to West.
Since the Earth"s Axial Precession is clockwise ( east to west) it is in opposition to its Annual path around the Sun. The Constellation Leo ( the Lion) was the Constellation during the Giza Complex"s Construction, 10,970 BC until 8,810 BC. Today we live between the Age of Pices and the Age of Aquarius. The Greek Hipparchus ( 127 BC) is given credit for discovering the Precession, yet history of the Giza Complex and its Alignment with the Precession precludes this discovery by almost 10,000 years.
Western Egyptologist Astronomer Jane Sellers in her book "The of Gods in Ancient Egypt" , while studying the Mathematics of the Osirian Drama, found that it was encoded Mathematically with the Precession of the Equinoxes ( as well as other parts of the Astrological Calendar). Within this Mathematical Code one can derive, 1. The Time required for the Earth"s slow Precessional Wobble to cause the position of Sunrise on the Vernal Equinox to complete a Shift of one degree along the Ecliptic ( In relation to its Stellar Background)2.The Time required for the Sun to pass through one full Zodiacal segment, totalling 30 degrees.3 The Time required for the Sun to pass through two full Zodiacal segments ( Sixty Degrees). 4. The Time required to bring about the "Great Return", for the sun to shift Three hundred and Sixty degrees along the Ecliptic, completing the Precessional Cycle, or "Great Year."
Sellers highlighted in the Osirian Myth, the numbers 360, 72, 30, and 12. E.A. Wallis Budge in his translation of "The Egyptian Book of the " ( Properly named " Book of Coming Forth by Day and Night") also came to the conclusion that the Osirian Myth was encoded with the Precession.
" The Goddess Nut, wife of the Sun God Ra, was beloved by the god Geb. When Ra discovered the intrique he cursed his wife and declared that she should not be delievered of a child in any month of any year. Then the God Thoth, who also loved Nut, played at Tables with the Moon and won from her five whole days. These he joined to the 360 Days of which the year then consisted. on the first of these five days, Osiris was brought forth, and at the moment of his birth a voice was heard to proclaim that the Lord of Creation was born." One of the more important examples lies in the part of the Osirian Drama, which pertains to the evil Diety Set, and his plot to kill Osiris ( his brother), the number of Conspirators involved in the Plot is 72. Sellers suggested that when one boots up a Modern Computer, with the Ancient Computer Numerology, one comes out with the following Figures. 1. "12"- Or the number of Constellations in the Zodiac". 2."30"- The number of Degrees allocated along the Ecliptic to each Zodiacal Constellation3. "72"- The number required for the Equinoctial sun to complete a Precessional shift of one degree along the Ecliptic.
4. "360"- The total number of Degrees in the Ecliptic, 5. "2160"- The number of years required for the Sun to complete a passage of 30 Degrees along the Ecliptic, by passing any one of the Twelve Zodiacal Signs 6. 2,160 x12="25,920"- Number of years in a complete Precessional Cycle, or "Great Year", and thus total years required to bring a "Great Return".
Other Precessional Cycles linked to the Osirian Numerology include: 1. "36"- The number of years required for the Equinoctial sun to complete a Precessional Shift of half a degree along the Ecliptic.2. "4320"- The number of years required for the Equinoctial Sun to complete a Precessional Shift of 60 degrees ( i.e. two Zodiacal Constellations). According to Hancock, in his "Finger Prints of the Gods" , Sellers predictions,
".....constitute the basic ingredients of a Precessional Code, which appears again and again, with eerie persistence, in Ancient Myths and Sacred Archetecture."
The predominant Number in the Code is 72. Next is 36 which when added to 72 equals 108. 30 another predominant figure of the Code, when added to 72 and rounded of to the nearest 100, equals 100. 100 times 108 equals 10,800 divided by 100 equals 54,000, strickingly close to double tjhe 25,920 years of thew Egyptian "Great Year". The Osirian Drama has been dated back in the Pyramid Texts to about 2,450 BC. Its influence has been seen in subsequent Theologies.
The Hebrew Cabala, speaks of 72 Angles through whom Sephiroth may be approached, or involked. Rosicrucian Texts speak of Cycles of 108 years ( 72 plus 36), according to Secret Brotherhoods. Chinese Secret Societies known as Triads, required Candidates for Initiation to pay a fee including 360 Cash, for making Clothes," 108 Cash "for the purse", and 72 Cash for Instruction. An Ancient Indian Text, known as "Puranas" speaks of four, "Ages of the Earth", called "Yugas", whic h extend to some 12,000 "Divine Years".
These "Divine Years" were divided into Epochs, like Krita Yuga=4800, Treta Yuga= 3600, Davpara Yuga=2400, Kali Yuga= 1200. Puranas Cosmology states that "One year of the Mortals is equal to one day of the Gods". What was the ultimate message of the Precession. Perhaps it was related to some prescription for saving the World from its Ultimate Destruction.
